Quality means a grip on every link in the chain

International recruitment in healthcare is only responsible when the entire process is right. Not only the selection of candidates, but also language training, diploma recognition, work permits, housing, onboarding and guidance after arrival.

Avant Talent Group does not supply individual candidates, but organises the full programme needed for Filipino healthcare professionals to settle sustainably within your organisation. From recruitment and selection in the Philippines to language training in Manila, permit applications, housing and guidance in the Netherlands.

For care organisations this means overview, clear responsibilities and less risk in a process where mistakes can have major consequences. The healthcare professionals are prepared months before arrival and continue to be guided after their start in the Netherlands, so that they can grow step by step into permanent colleagues on the work floor.

Six safeguards for responsible intake
The complete chain

Avant Talent Group organises the entire process from start to finish itself. Recruitment, selection, language training, permits, housing and guidance are not separate parts handled by different parties, but fall under one way of working. This way your organisation knows who is responsible for what, and the lines of communication stay short — even after the healthcare professional has started in the Netherlands.

Selection for sustainable reinforcement

Avant Talent Group selects not only on diploma and experience, but also on language ability, willingness to learn, motivation and the deliberate choice to live and work in the Netherlands for the long term. Candidates go through several interviews, checks and assessments before they may start the programme. The goal is not a quick intake, but colleagues who stay.

Dutch lessons before departure

Before departure, healthcare professionals follow intensive full-time language training at Avant Talent Group’s own training location in Manila. The lessons are given face to face by our experienced Dutch teachers who travel to the Philippines. The training focuses on language used in elderly care: handovers, reporting, contact with residents and family, and working together with colleagues.

Permits and professional recognition secured

Healthcare professionals from the Philippines may only work in the Netherlands with the right residence and work permit. Avant Talent Group handles the application for the Single Permit for Residence and Work (GVVA) at the IND and guides the process around diploma recognition via the CIBG. The official Dutch language exam and the declaration of professional competence are also part of this route.

Demonstrable compliance

International intake calls for a party that takes laws and regulations seriously. Avant Talent Group works with verifiable procedures around permit requirements, collective-labour-agreement-compliant pay, working hours, hour registration and chain liability. Avant Talent Group is SNA-certified, complies with NEN 4400-1 and can always provide a recent statement of payment conduct from the Tax Authority.

Living well, settling well, functioning well

Avant Talent Group organises and manages high-quality, safe and hygienic housing. The healthcare professionals live in normal homes, have their own bedroom and can travel to work independently. After arrival, too, Avant Talent Group stays involved with evaluations, language support, coaching and practical guidance. Our involvement does not stop until you are satisfied with your new colleague.
